New site is currently in the works for a co-incided launch with our debut album.

Sirocco are currently recording jamming demos of all our tracks, in preperation for July, when we return to BPM Studios in Douglas, to record our debut album. The cd launch is currently scheduled for Friday, August 12th in Cork, and artwork for the release is being done by Jim and Rob's Tattoo Artist, Pete Clough. Photo shoots will be taking place over the weekend, as long as the weather holds up. Still tying up loose ends for the summer tour with Serum, expect dates this weekend as well. Gonna be a busy summer. Also, added 5 photos from our Freak Fm "Deviation" gig, on May 2nd, to the live photo section. Check em out.

Summer tour is currently being booked and organised. Look for us to play in the following locations during August & September 2005: Cork, Galway, Dublin, Limerick, Wexford, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Sligo and Tipperary.
As always, it will be ourselves, and the almighty Serum, as well as established Cork metallers, Mundicide, thrashing out the riffs till the early hours. Sirocco's debut album is in the works at the moment, and will be released on the first night of the tour (around august 4th). Full gig listings will be available in the "Tour" section during the week.

Another great 2 gigs played. Our "mini tour" with Serum concluded this afternoon with the freak fm all ages Deviation gig. Just want to say a quick thanks to the following:
Freak Fm
Darkmaster & Scarlet
All the bands who shared the stage with us over the weekend
Everyone who turned out and threw us the devil horns!
Everyone who picked up a copy of our new demo
and the biggest thanks of the weekend goes to Ber, the unbelievably talented soundguy in An Cruiscin Lan, and the almighty Serum, who helped us out so much over the last 4 gigs, that I don't even know where to begin.
We're hoping to organise a summer tour 2005 for the start of August, with Serum, which will most likely cover the country. Photos from the Freak Fm gigs should be up soon, depending on how they turned out.

Site was down quite a bit over the last few days. Seems to be back in working order again now. Guest book is also back in action. Next gigs are this Sunday, May 1st and the following morning, bank holiday Monday May 02nd in an Cruiscin Lan, Cork. Scroll down the page for more information on both gigs.

Just recovering from 2 unbelievable gigs in Cork this weekend. Huge Thanks to everyone who turned up and supported us, to everyone who left positive feedback about us on the freak boards, Brendan and Jon for giving us a chance at blast, and Con for the gig at "Hangar 18". Also a huge thanks to all the bands we played with over the weekend, especially Serum. Apparently ourselves and Serum "stole the show" at Sundays Blast Gig. Oddly enough, we're now being billed as the "New Age Thin Lizzy". So in honour of that, we're going to play a very special Lizzy cover on Sunday night at the freak fm gig. Thursdays gig in Waterford has been cancelled, due to "unforeseen circumstances". At least we'll now have a little more time to jam out our newer songs and get them a bit tighter. On a final note, Bonez guitar strap was nicked in the Half Moon on Sunday. if anyone knows anything about it, or has it, please get in contact, or drop it into the cruisc?n for us before sunday. Its a black leather guitar strap with silver bullet shells attached to it.

Still no sign of the guestbook being revived, so for the moment, there is a new shoutbox on the right hand side of the screen. Feel free to leave a message for the band.

New photos from our recent trip to the studio are now up in the "Photo > Other" Section. 2 More gigs confirmed. Both in An Cruiscin Lan, Douglas Street, Cork. The first is the Freak Fm Cd Launch, on May 1st, and the second is an all ages Freak FM "Deviation" gig on May 2nd. Also, "Abyss" made its premier last night on the Freak Fm airwaves. Thanks a million to DJ Catharsis for that.

We received our first taste of airplay tonight, on freak fm 105.2 Cork, with the debut of "Christian Cry", which is currently a freak fm exclusive track, recorded by Sirocco. The only place you can hear it at the moment is by picking up a copy of the new freak benefit cd, which will be released on May 1st. Big thanks to Con for playing us.
