Its been a hell of a year for Sirocco. We want to start by saying a massive thanks to the following people - James Loveday and The Distortion Project, T and Kilkenny Metal Events, Jean Claude and Tom in Fibbers, Kieran and all the staff in An Cruiscin Lan, Luke and Billy from Reanimator Metal Night, Crunch, Lee and Acheron Promotions, Ciaran from Shardborne, Cathal and Ian from Cork Winterfest, Sorrowfall, SuidAkrA, For Ruin, and most importantly everyone who has come to see us play over the last 12 months and picked up our cds and all the other bands that we have had a pleasure to share a stage with.
This year alone we have released our second album, and played our first shows in Kilkenny, Dublin, Belfast and Birmingham, as well as finally adding vocals to our sound. Plenty more to come from Sirocco on 2008, but until then we wish everyone a happy Christmas and a very heavy metal new year \m/

A message from John: "My sincerest appologies to anyone who came out to see us at Winterfest. Anybody who knows me, knows that this is one gig that I would love to have played. Due to unsforeseen circumstances, it was impossible for me to play at Winterfest 2006. My hand was in bits, and there was absolutely nothing I could do to play this gig. We have scheduled another all ages gig for February 10th, to make it up to people who were expecting to see us. Happy New Year, and looking forward to a very metal 2007 for Sirocco!" image
