Latest News 28.02.09 Hails! 2009 will be a big year for Sirocco. We have started work on our new album, which we hope to release towards the end of the year. A documentary is being made on Sirocco, focusing on the dynamics within the band, as well as exploring our personal lives and how being in an underground metal band effects each of us. we have also confirmed our first shows of 2009. Sirocco will be headling a winterfest fundraiser on the 21st of March in our home town of cork. we will be mixing up the set, performing songs from our debut album, Nemed; An Triu Creathan, as well as songs from The March Through Crimson Frost and also one or two brand new Sirocco songs, never heard before. We are really excited about playing with our good friends, Saviours of Sin, Days of Night, Impurium and Open Casket and we are sure this will be an amazing night. Sirocco will be playing support to Wolfchant in dublin and cork in late May. We're really looking forward to sharing the stage with wolfchant and starting the summer off with a bang. We will be appearing at the Low End festival in our native Waterford. This is the first year of the festival which features heavyweights of irish metal, Primordial, Mourning Beloveth, Two Tales of Woe and Five Will die as well as the mighty Onslaught. We are all really excited about appearing at Waterfords first metal festival and we are really looking forward to playing the forum.
